Whats the difference between the OSMF memberships?

2

I had a look here join.osmfoundation.org for the OSMF memberships, but now I'm confused for which I should choose.

As a European (non-UK) person, does "Associate" matter anything other than "Normal"?

Is the only difference that for the Normal membership one has to submit the full name and address ? Does my choice matter somehow for the foundation?

Associate members can not vote on resolutions, they can only elect the board. The other difference is that they are not liable for liabilities of the foundation (that is however only a token sum per member in any case) and are not entered in the the member register (which is more or less public).
