Where does one find that context menu entry?

You can hide/show layers (including a tile layer) in the Layers" display (Alt+L will show it).

From there you can hide/show/remove a layer.

It doesn't appear as a separate layer that can be removed, it's just on top of the satellite imagery. The only thing I've found that gets rid of it is to "Flush Tile Cache". It's not really a big deal though..
