Filter nodes by a certain tag using ID

0	Using ID editor, I would want to display in the map all nodes with tags containing [place=town] or [place=city]. How can I filter the map to display such nodes (for easy editing)? Thanks. ideditor filter nodes tagging asked 28 Jul '17, 22:51 JAT86 240●18●19●25 accept rate: 0%

As far as I know iD only supports filtering on rough categories, the filter configuration is reachable via the "map data" button on the right hand side.

Thanks. Nonetheless, the Map data button makes filtering much easier.
