OSM on my PC displays road and many place names etc in the native language (in my case Thai) I would like to set this to English which I think should be possible as my navigation app has the street names in English (OsmAnd). Can I do this and if yes, how?

Is there a PC client that provides this functionality? I've used Gosmore and JOSM but I don't know whether either of them has this feature.

I just became aware of a site that allows you to select the display language: https://openmaptiles.org/languages/en/#0.57/-2/-6

Perhaps that will work for you?
