You do not need to delete any of the entries, they are just partial text suggestions. Please simply enter a meaningful text explaining what you edited in the text box itself.

This is just not necessary. iD will display your last ~50 changeset messages in case you want to re-use any of them. So if you choose to create new ones instead the old ones won't get displayed any more eventually.

Krackel, remember that any comment bound to an edit stays in the database. Only your editor shows the 50 newest ones as Simon stated. The only way possible is a reverse, but you’ll have to be care full to use it for just a comment and you’ll have to ad your own edit as well.
