How to download a backgroundmap for use in ArcGIS?

Hi.

I am totally new to openstreetmap, and would really appreciate some start-up-help.

I have some data that I would like to show with a background-map of Sogn og Fjordane and Hordaland (western part of Norway). Would be nice if the backgroundmap showes cities and other basic information, so that people recognize the area.

I plan to use ArcGIS to combine the backgroundmap and my data.

How do I download the backgroundmap?
