Hi

Has anyone put together on-line slippy maps for any of the OS Open Data sets? Specifically OS Open Map - Local?

The wiki page I thought should contain any relevant info appears a bit out of date: http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Ordnance_Survey_Opendata

Isn't that one of the datasets which is out of date & not being updated by OS any more?

Aren't these the current ones: https://www.ordnancesurvey.co.uk/opendatadownload/products.html

I thought OS were not updating that form of mapping any more.Is that a new product (your link) and is that free like the older one.

I'm unsure why you're asking that. It clearly say "free digital map products", "Open Government Licence" & many of the update are this year.

Luke Smith of Grough magazine posted to the talk-gb list in April 2016 about such a project: https://lists.openstreetmap.org/pipermail/talk-gb/2016-April/018740.html.

Thanks This is very interesting. He appears to have done some 'fuzzy' comparison as footways & buildings have no duplicates between OS & OSM mashup.
