Hello,

Anybody knows what's the problem with the map here:

http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=37.22376&lon=-121.80045&zoom=15&layers=M

At some of the zoom scales I see a red hatched rectangle covering a large area. Looks like something went wrong with rendering...

Regards,

Alex

It looks like someone might have been uploading a changeset when the tiles were rendered witch caused a military area to spill over the entire world just as the tiles were rendered. This will disapear when the tiles are rerendered.

There was briefly some satirical vandalism. Someone tagged the whole of the United States as a military area. It was quickly spotted and fixed, but there are a few affected tiles still hanging around. They'll be back to normal soon.
