Buildings which have historically interesting usage which is now altered

0	How do I mark a building which has some historical interest but which now has a different usage. For example a famous pub which is now just a house, of a church which is now an art museum? historic history historical pub church asked 20 Jun '17, 15:55 colwilson 16●1●1●2 accept rate: 0%

For a former church, I would just use building=church and set old_name to the most used former name. If the history is notable beyond that I'd check for a suitable historic value.

A pub is harder, tags like was:amenity=pub are seeing some usage, and old_name would again be reasonable.

I would use the disused: prefix for the old function: http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:disused: I used at least once disused:amenity=place_of_worship for a church converted into a library: http://www.openstreetmap.org/way/42206561
