How country boundries for Greece is created?

0

At Aegean Sea, both Greece and Turkey has 6 nm of territorial waters for their mainland and islands. The rest is open sea / high sea. Very interestingly, openstreetmap shows the whole open sea or high sea at Aegean Sea as territory of Greece.

Do you know how this happened and could be corrected?

The source given on the boundary ways is https://www.eea.europa.eu/data-and-maps/data/maritime-boundaries Original changeset https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/3385604#map=7/38.824/27.091

There is no reason to believe that this information is incorrect (some of these boundaries are disputed by the involved parties, but see our policy on such matters).

Note: it is not clear if this is a legit source for OpenStreetMap, but that is a different question.
