I was wondering how long, approximately, will it take to import a continent in postgresql database. I started to import south America data yesterday using an Amazon m4.4xlarge (16 cores, 64 GB ram) instance and the estimated time is more than 10 days. Is it normal? I used 28GB cache in import command, also used flatnode file and postgresql config looks like this:

shared_buffers (2GB)
maintenance_work_mem (10GB)
work_mem (50MB)
effective_cache_size (24GB)
synchronous_commit = off
checkpoint_timeout = 10min
checkpoint_completion_target = 0.9
