I apologise if this is the wrong place to ask the following question and if it is could someone please let me know where I should ask it.

I have not used Garmin City Select Europe v6 for a year or so and I had to load it into a new computer as the "expert" who was swopping stuff over from the old computer lost all the Garmin stuff.

I attempted to open the software and was asked for a 25 number code which I can not find and every avenue I used to seek advice seemed closed until I opened one that then asked me for £4.00 for PayPal protection which I didn't want so I'm stuffed and would like to know how I can get this 25 number access code.

Yes, this not really the right place to as for questions about Garmin's software. Ask at Garmin's support: https://support.garmin.com

However, as SomeoneElse said, we would like to help you to stop using Garmin's maps but instead use OpenStreetMap-based maps for your Garmin device.
