Hi, I just uploaded some GPS tracks to OpenStreetMap via my account and I'd like to change the description and the visibility of some of them. I tried to click on 'Edit this track' (I don't know the exact name of the button in English) and change some things, but when I hit 'Save changes', the page just refreshes and nothing has been updated/modified/changed. Does anybody have an idea of how to make it work? Thanks in advance for your help. asked 14 Feb '17, 15:31 thomaskuntzz edited 14 Feb '17, 15:54 |

in your traces list , click on the file name, then click the left button on the bottom "edit this trace". There you should be able to change the visibility. However, currently, I can confirm that I experience the same issue: I cannot change the visibility (the page refreshes and a opening this page again confirms that nothing was changed. I suspect a website bug. Does it work for anybody? I have asked our admins/developers for help at https://trac.openstreetmap.org/ticket/5447 . answered 14 Feb '17, 22:22 aseerel4c26 ♦ edited 16 Feb '17, 19:51 |
The problem is on the website, because it occurs on chrome and safari too. Hopefully they fix it quickly answered 15 Mar '17, 06:26 Jimzamjimmyy |
Both methods work for me. Either click on the trace filename, or the "more" in the links following the trace name and a new page will open where you can edit keywords, visibility and description of the trace or delete it.
Could you try in Firefox (was used by me)?
Firefox no workee! The new page opens but no clickable links are displayed at the bottom. I checked with MS Edge and it works with that browser as well. Sometimes I resort to other browsers when Chrome doesn't work on a particular site. This time the shoe is on the other foot.
Hmm, no clickable links? So you do not get the view as in my screenshot? That seems to be a different issue then.
I cannot change anything, I think that is a bug of the website, I tried in Firefox and on my phone and the issue persists...
Here is a link to a video record of the bug happening on my phone.
