A person who lives in Longmont, CO pointed out an error on the streets Captains Lane and Marlin Drive, they are reversed. I updated the street names and I received a confirmation that it was successful, but I login after 3 days and the change is not there.

When I update street names, is there some vetting process to have these visible? Is there a feature for me to see if my update did not work or was declined? I am certain that OSM is wrong as the person said they live on that street. Google maps has the correct street name..

Hi Janet

There is no vetting process (at all). You may simply be experiencing rendering delays: the map images ("tiles") may have not updated, or your browser is still caching old versions. You can check if your change was successfully by turning on the "data layer" (click the layer selector icon on the right hand side).

I did notice one thing here: https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/17018278/history there is a spurious "name_1" which goes back to the original TIGER import that should be removed/moved to the correct road.
