Hello everyone , All the drawn lines of the map are called segments. The question is : When editing the routes online using google chrome browser is it possible to export any segment into a .gpx file and save it on hard drive ? is there such a function or we have to use a program to edit NOT the web browser ? If you're thinking of extracting a personal route, I like graphopper for that. You can make a route, with many waypoints and then extract it to a GPX. If you want the real segment, you can query it by ID with overpass-turbo. It allows for export to GPX. If you want something else, please explain! |
What sort of "routes" are you talking about? Can you give an example?
https://waymarkedtrails.org/ allows downloading of OSM routes as GPX files. Does this answer your question?
I am talking about OSM map. I have logged into https://www.openstreetmap.org, then panning to my city, then want to click any drawn route or segment and export it to gpx. Thank you all in advance
That is not possible on osm.org, as fas as I know. But osm.org is just ONE way of looking at OSM data! The three answers you were given here, all use OSM data.
