I have just installed OsmAnd Maps plus the UK map on an iPad mini. The rendering of the map tiles is extremely slow, but the main problem is that the map view is not flat. It is distorted as if viewed from above the equator, and the distortion changes as you move around. I can find no settings to change it to a simple plan view.

Any help appreciated

There is no "official" OSM app for iOS. What application did you actually install?

By the way: in case you want to try another OSM-based app, see our docu wiki: iOS.

maybe you did tilt the map accidentally. You can* do this (and undo) by sliding with two fingers vertically on the map display.

* at least it is like this with OsmAnd on an iPhone

I have just rebooted the device and it all seems fine now. Obviously some glitch somewhere
