Wrong name of my street - can’t work out how to change it

1

I live on Bunyip-Tonimbuk Road Bunyip Victoria Au Post code 3815. My road runs from Wattletree road to Princess Highway and from Wattletree road to the rail line is Hope Street. When I look it up on this map it tells me that Hope Street runs form the rail line to Princess Highway. Well, it doesn't. It's wrong. How can I change it? (On Google Maps its Right)

When you see the area on the main map select the "Edit" tab. Now you can select Hope Street and then the node in the intersection between Hope Street and Wattletree road. Split Hope Street in two at this node using the scissors. Then you can select the part of Hope Street from Wattletree to Princess Hwy and rename this to Tonimbuk Road.

You might want to take a look at the Potlatch 2 guide.

This will help as well https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Map_Making_Overview so zoom right into the street you wish to edit click on edit, choose potlach2 ( one easy editor) click on the street and on the left there will bee a box in which you can choose and label(tag) items. don't worry if you mess up just don't save it. just exit and start again.there's an udo button as well. beware it is addictive.Good luck
