Hello, I am using a map for a print flyer (I am a real estate agent). Did I give credit properly? Also, is it okay that I added the little location icon and address text? I feel like the instructions are vague for print. It says all I need to put is "© OpenStreetMap contributors" but then it says "You must also make it clear that the data is available under the Open Database Licence" and the term "CC BY-SA." So, is my credit okay or not? Thanks! asked 03 Jan '17, 21:07 ansarob aseerel4c26 ♦ |
That's good. You do have to explain somewhere what licence the data is using, too. The easiest way to do this is by citing the URL of our copyright page, which is simply openstreetmap.org/copyright . answered 03 Jan '17, 21:50 Richard ♦ 1
So, do I add that URL next to or below the current copyright I have on the photo?

thanks for using OSM! :-)
Please note that all you can get here is help from the community. The only legally binding bit are the licenses themselves. You are encouraged to read their legal full text. But we try to help, of course.
