Does rebuilding a MapRoulette2 challenge lose any progress?

I made a challenge in MapRoulette2 using Overpass API. If I rebuild a challenge, would it lose any stats such as items already fixed, skipped or too hard? What if an item has been fixed in the meantime and won't be included in the new Overpass results?
