How to make us state park boundary visible inside landuse=forest ?

0

I have mapped a US state park that is mostly a wooded area. The park boundary has these tags:

boundary=national_park

admin_level=2

This renders as a green dashed line.

Most of the park is wooded, however in many places the wooded area extends outside the park boundary, so I have added another area tagged as:

landuse=forest

This is rendered as a green area which makes it impossible to see the park boundary.

Has anyone else experienced this? is there a way to make the rendered map more useful by showing the park boundary?

It would help if you could link to an example of this on the map.

Plus, which renderer are you referring to? If you mean on Mapnik or Osmarender or OpenCycleMap, then you can report this by adding a ticket on Trac. Preferably with a link to an example, and a suggestion of how the rendering could be improved.

Sorry, I was talking about Mapnik. I thought that was obvious.

The areas in question is here:

Osmarender doesn't have this problem, but it has so many other problems...
