I have downloaded a couple of times the Garmin map of Poland from the OSM, taking the pre-defined generic routable file (no TYP file), and then transferred it to my Garmin Oregon 450. I have never had any problems with using my tracks and routes. However, the map downloaded this week does not open in the unit and I can see the track but not the map. The map is included in Garmin's list of maps and is enabled. I can see it in BaseCamp if I double click on the list of maps in the unit. The same thing happens with a newly downloaded map of Lettland. Has there been any recent change in the way your Garmin maps are constructed?

@surprised: please do not waste the community's resources by asking the same question again and not answering clarification questions.
