For three years, I have never had a problem downloading maps. They always contained the "osm_generic_macosx.zip" and the "osm_generic_gmapsupp.zip" files that I need and use on my MAC. They downloads also always had the "tiles.txt", "osm_generic_windows.exe", "osm_generic_tiles.zip", "license.txt", "buildlog.txt", "63240000_license.txt", and "63240000.nsi" files, which I never reference.

Now, all I am getting are the "metadata/" and "osm_generic_new_tiles.zip" files.

I have tried many countries, with and without "tileselection" and always get the same thing. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thank you

Unfortunately the map generation of garmin.openstreetmap.nl seems broken and it is not clear when this is fixed. In the meantime you can convert the osm_generic_new_tiles.zip file with the OSM combiner tool, or try other alternatives, http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/OSM_Map_On_Garmin/Download
