In the Walkthrough for beginners at the second of the five main apects 'Points' it is not possible to Delete the created point like the walkthrough asks for, as the selectable Delete-Button is not in the top and therefore not in the selectable area, but next to the point created

It is the one offered when using the the Browser-editor the very first time; I dont know if it can be found or used afterwards. At least I was not able to go through it due to the posted problem

To see the walkthrough again, clear browser cookies and it'll appear again, or use a different web browser.

When I go through the walkthrough again (in Chrome on Windows 7) the "bin" icon appears near the point that I created and clicking it does delete it.

what browser and computer operating system are you using?

To add one comment to this - the iD author has mentioned elsewhere that there can be problems with the "area that you're allowed to edit during the walkthrough" being moved, which can make it impossible to delete the test point that you added.

If that's the problem I wouldn't worry about it - it only affects the iD walkthrough and even then only if you drag the map before trying to delete the test point.
