I like to mark some nearby Stream Pools, but I am unable to find a way to mark them in the map. Is there a way to mark stream pools? Thanks in advance.

in case you are not aware of "tags" (which is what escada is mentioning), please see https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tags (especially the last section "Use in an editor")

It might be worthwhile to create a tagging proposal about that. It could also address the inconclusive discussion on if and how to tag these as swimming holes: https://lists.openstreetmap.org/pipermail/talk/2014-April/069701.html

@joost schouppe, a tagging proposal for a new value of an existing key seems like an overkill to me. Just add the value with a picture to the water page on the wiki should be sufficient.
