How can I tag gendarme stations in Turkey?

Since I'm living in Turkey I started using amenity=police and name=Jandarma. Actually it's a military subdivision which is responsible for the maintenance of the public order in areas that fall outside the jurisdiction of police forces (generally in rural areas), (see wikipedia article )

You should use the operator=* key, not name.

Well I assume that is some sort of police station, so amenity=police is the obvious answer.

If there are various different police forces in Turkey then you may want to add an extra tag to indicate which force it belongs to.
