I would like to find an edit I made 6m to 1.5y ago, and I am quite good at providing meaningful edit summaries, so I think that I'd be able to find it if I could search my edit summaries, however there is no obvious way to do this.

Is there some service I could use?

There's 1.5Gb of changeset info over at http://planet.openstreetmap.org/planet/, so you could download and search that I guess.

Personally I'd probably find an object that I know I changed and look at the history of that, though.

Thanks! Downloading changeset-latest.osm worked well, and gave me an excuse to brush up on my very limited grep skills a bit.

I'd tried looking for an object in the area that could have modified in the same edit, but that'd not been successful.

Thanks for the response!

You can download your changeset metadata with https://github.com/andrewharvey/osm-get-user-changeset-metadata

You could try neis's osm-changeset tool, although it is limited to the last 30 days and I don't think you can specify a contributor.

Thanks for the comment, it's always good to learn about more tools, even if it's not what I'm looking for this time.
