How to use osm file to make a offline maps(using mapbox)

I have some question.I try to make a offline maps use mapbox,And I don't know how to use .osm file? How to make offline map without server? Please answer the question.Thank you

Please describe with more words what you are planning to do. What is "mapbox" for you? Do you really need to use a .osm file as basis? What means "map without server"?
