What tag(s) would be most appropriate for a university 'quad'? In American English, they are public spaces where students hang out and spend leisure time or study. They may informally throw a frisbee around there. There's often benches and plenty of grass and some trees. They often contain paths (usually with an asphalt or concrete, or brick) where students transverse through it to travel to nearby buildings (classrooms, dorms).

I would start by mapping the features individually amenity=bench, highway=footway, landcover=grass (which I prefer over landuse=grass), etc.

It the quad has a name, and it seems they often do, then put a polygon around it with a name=* tag.
