Could someone please swat users "stevea" and "AlexC"? I'm getting sick of seeing their petty dispute over whether the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route is an "ncn" or an "icn" pop up in the edit history of the area I'm monitoring.

The question has been closed for the following reason "Too personal & argumentative. Inappropriate for OSM Help. Perhaps submit a re-phrased question w/o names etc as this may be more generally relevant." by SK53 09 Jun '16, 20:25

Well actually it is a route=mtb and if it was tagged as such likely nobody would care about the rest :-)

The other, serious, answer is that if all else fails the DWG (data@osmfoundation.org) will likely give them both a forced cooling down period.

And yes AFAIK the DWG is aware of the situation.

This is the wrong forum for this type of request/suggestion.

Please first of all ask the users concerned to desist civilly via email, personal message or a changeset discussion. Second, if and only if that fails you may wish to raise the issue with the Data Working Group.
