Why not ask your question on the new OpenStreetMap Community Forum?

I usually upload my tracks to OSM and edit them directly from the tracks listing, but this uses Potlatch. I'd like to edit the same track using Potlatch 2. Is this possible? How?

This is now possible in exactly the same way as with Potlatch 1, assuming that you have Potlatch 2 set as your default editor.

Two things: you can now set Potlatch 2 as default editor, and your GPX traces are available directly under "my tracks" in Potlatch 2 now days.
