Some old houses in different countries in South America, and particularly in Colombia, they are built with a special technique called Bahareque that mixes mud with guadua and other material. In the Key:building:material section of the wiki there is nothing about other materials. How can I map a building with that material? asked 07 Apr '16, 02:44 AngocA |
The wiki is a guide, not a requirement. You are free to add another value for the Remember, the wiki is a guide, not a rulebook. answered 07 Apr '16, 13:48 rorym |
Hi AngocA, building:material=timber_framing found in http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:building:material the material in between the framing is mud and reed, willows or alike. It’s practical the oldest way to build a reinforced wall that will last some time. Feel free to use building:material=bahareque Consider adding historic=building as well if the house/building is old enough. The Wiki should get your attention as well. answered 07 Apr '16, 10:40 Hendrikklaas |
