Hello, there.

I know several wet forests around me, i.e. swamps that are used for wood production; how am I supposed to tag them? I currently tag them as natural=wetland, wetland=swamp, landuse=forest, but I would like to be sure about this, as that sounds strange to me.

Awaiting your answers,

Regards.

Sounds OK to me: it at least captures much of the relevant information. I also cant think of any better way of doing it now, although I share the feeling that its a bit odd.

HI penegal, I would not change your tagging scheme, leave it as is and have a look here http://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=17/52.48436/4.77604 the Wiki let you use all kinds of combinations. A site or area with different kinds of wet-dry-meadow land. Its gradually being transformed from landuse=meadow into natural=wetland in all varieties.
