Can you tell us what buttons you are pressing and where?

I go to the right bar, press "Share" and select pdf as exporting format. Then I press download. I also tried png and Svg. Then nothing happens.

I tried the other pages, I tried mapz.com and downloaded an Adobe Illustrator File but the Font didn't work and now I have strange letters spread all over the map.

I tried the page trimble data marketplace and the map also does not work.

I hope that someone can help me.

You are trying to download too large an area. Either try a smaller area, or look at one of the alternatives described here.

If you only want small maps the export function should work, Screen prints will also work. But for bigger maps i would suggest using Garmins Basecamp, it is a free program which has several other features such as route planning and printing. See this other question on Basecamp. It will work on Win PC also. The downloaded map means the you can then work without an internet connection. https://help.openstreetmap.org/questions/40523/importing-maps-to-basecamp-mac

I think you are talking about the Export feature of main osm.org website.

Read the whole text in the OSM wiki about that feature, and about troubbleshooting.

Tell us here if you get stuck with new problems in detail.
