I see gates into the neighborhood with a padlock that says FIRE DEPARTMENT on them. For some reason, I thought we had access=emergency (apparently I was wrong). Is the correct tagging

barrier=gate
access=no
emergency=yes?

Reading the wiki, I would agree.

access=no implies that no regular traffic may pass, and emergency=yes makes an exception for emergency vehicles.

we have some of those rising bollards triggered by buses or emergency service vehicles which need a tag in my area
