Sign designating an unknown feature

0

Hello, there.

I saw signs seemingly designating a feature, but this feature was not present or I couldn't see it; how should I map these arbitrary signs?

Awaiting your answers,

Regards.

Hmm, a sign which says for example "there is a view tower" but you did not find the view tower in reality? This? And you just want to map the signs? Did I understand that correctly?

In fact, it's ref signs designating ditches, but they're all along streams, nationaly referenced and locally known as streams, and I don't want to tag the streams with a data not belonging to them.

Penegal, make a note at the sign pointing to oblivian, with your remarks.

I suggest to map what you see in reality (which is what OSM is about) and maybe add a note tag (key "note") at the OSM object mentioning that the nearby sign is just wrong. (I hope I did understand you correctly ...)
