[overpass-api] What is the size of UNCOMPRESSED PLANET DB after populating

I populated the db directory with command --compression_method=no to the init_osm3s.sh file. The size of the directory is 120gb , but this is the same size i got while populating DB_DIR without --compression_method=no =no command !! What am i missing here?
