Hello,

I work for the government of the Bahamas and we are attempting to update map information for the Bahamas. Our GIS section has updated street data and address points. How can we give this spatial data to OpenStreetMap to be added to the map?

Also, which map applications consume the data added to OpenStreetMap.

I am no expert, but as a first step your organisation can publish that data as a kind of Open Data.

In the OSM wiki there is a collection of datasets that have been imported already in the OSM database, with additional information there about free licences used.

For detailed information etc. I recommend to get in contact directly the OSM foundation.
