Put a point in map and save the info?

I am new in that, but i want to learn and i need for a little proyect... I need to implements a little PHP web site with OSP, but the user should can put a point in the map, then this location save in BD. Is something same like when are a signing a new user in this page. My english is not good, and i dont trust in google.. By doubts
