Hallo,

ist es möglich, eine einfache Karte für eine einzelne Wanderung zu erstellen, auf der lediglich der hochgeladene Track und die hinterlegte Topo zu sehen ist?

Danke für die Hilfe Lars.

[loose translation to en] Is it possible to create a straightforward map for a single hike, with the track overlaid on a background topo map?

You can try Hikingbook.pl for such purposes.

Or have a look at Hiking_Map to see more possibilities about hiking maps.

Is running a perl program, particularly one which I presume has specific package requirements, 'einfach'? I never got any of this suite of perl programs running under windows.

On a real operating system running a perl program is easy.

I hope I have understood your question correctly (see my translation above).

In a Windows environment I would use Kosmos or Maperitive to create such a map.

OSM does not store elevation data other than for a small number of points. The usual source which is widely used with OSM data is SRTM. Both these tools integrate accessing and preparing this data as simple commands or menu options. They also allow GPS (in gpx) tracks to be overlaid on the map, and allow the final product to be saved to a file for printing.
