I have recently bought a new computer that has a screen resolution of (3200 x 1800) that renders JOSM too small to use. The magnifier application doesn't help nor does changing the screen resolution.

Anybody know a fix for this?

thanks

Is it just in JOSM? Because it sounds like a similar problem I had with some programs, caused by a silly setting in Windows 8.

No, unfortunately, not just JOSM. Certain dialogue boxes even in MS Office display a reduced image size. Apparently it relates to Font Scaling. There are various settings you can make that might improve it but in JOSM's case nothing helps. From what I have read it is a Java problem. But that does not help.

@GavinX: from what I've found it is indeed a general Java problem (at least for non JavaFX programs), confirm.

in fact, we had this question before: https://help.openstreetmap.org/questions/33450/high-pixel-density-displays-in-josm
