anyone could point me in the direction of a forum or noticeboard where one could place an OSM-related job advertisement (e.g. programming/coding)?

@Jason HH: I tried to do my best to rephrase your question and comment into a real question for this site, please edit if you can improve it.

not really an answer - you could try it the other way round and choose a service provider from this list: https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Commercial_OSM_Software_and_Services

There are the usual platforms esp. for IT jobs and social media. You can publish it on your website and ask the OSM news to share it. You can also get in touch with your local OSM community.

P.S Please be aware, that some of our contributors are sceptical about companies and commercial business.

I doubt that focussing on the "OSM-related" aspect of the job is a good idea. The technical aspects (Frondend or backend ? What language ? What platform ? Team size ? Location, senioricity, communication skills, salary expectation ? etc) are IMHO more important. Look for candidates among communities that match the most important technical aspects. I wouldn't even care if the candidate knows about OSM at all to begin with : (s)he'll learn and enjoy it quickly enough.
