I have indeed two questions related to food trucks, food carts and similar :

  • Should food carts, food trucks and similar mobile food caterings be mapped if these are at the same spot e.g. every day or every weekday, yes or no? (I would incline towards yes if they are in the same place regularly. This would be in line with what is done with markets.)

  • If yes, how would you tag them? (I has amenity=fast_food with cuisine=XXXX and mobile=yes in mind. I know that key:mobile does not exist yet.)

The question, is what is whatever :). There is a location with little building for a bar, and a fixed bus, there are seat in bus to drink in in winter, and chairs outside for summer, because it becomes too hot in summer time.

Thanks! I was not aware of this.

In general we only map permanent features. Naturally what that actually is, is a matter of debate, seasonal (for example summer vs. winter) seems to be more or less ok, shorter probably not.

If the stands/carts are always at a fixed location maybe mapping the area in question (as a market of whatever) would be more appropriate.
