Other than using search engines (Google, Bing, etc.) is there a tool or way to search among users' diaries in OSM?

Users do write some interesting stuff they do around OSM in their dairies, so I was searching for something back then.

There's tricks you can do with google and also duckduckgo to narrow things down to just the diaries. Try searching for this:

"site:openstreetmap.org inurl:user inurl:diary cake"

But no search feature on the OpenStreetMap website itself.

No, there's no other way to search the user diaries.

If you think this would be useful to have built-in to www.openstreetmap.org, then you can create a feature request at https://github.com/openstreetmap/openstreetmap-website
