Why not ask your question on the new OpenStreetMap Community Forum?

Is the national truck network already tagged somehow and available in OSM? The Wikipedia list looks very detailed but I cannot find something refering to it in the OSM wiki. If not, how would this be tagged? Like a cycle network?

Okay, found the tagging schema, but still wanted to let others know.

Typical highway - network=US:SC , ref=#
Truck route - network=US:SC:Truck, ref=# , modifier=Truck
Business route - network=US:SC:Business, ref=# , modifier=Business
Bypass route - network=US:SC:Alternate, ref=# , modifier=Alternate

Not sure :) Can you explain on it a bit more? Is there a OSM wiki or some official resources about it?

Check the links the person who created that relation cited.
