For info, there's already http://onosm.org/ - that's designed to capture business POI data in an OSM note so that mappers can add it.

There is only one editing API for OSM and that is documented on the Wiki. Of course for the user interface you could either write your own, or build on top of existing OSM editors like iD (Javascript), Potlatch (Flash), or JOSM (Java).

Anyone who wants to make edits in OSM needs to register their own account.

Please note that OSM is mainly a place for geodata. We do occasionally collect some additional information about businesses like opening times or what type of food they offer or what goods they sell, but this is really just ancillary information and anything that even remotely looks like advertising will be removed from OSM.

Frederik Ramm i would like to thank you for your anwser, and ask you if information like the the products of the businesses in sale or a picture of the food of the store would be acepeted or considered advertising.

Thank you again for all the help.

OSM does occasionally mention products, for example if there's a vending machine we will map whether it sells bicycle tubes or parking tickets. With food stores, people sometimes map what dietary concerns they serve (e.g. vegan, gluten-free etc). A detailed list of products, or even prices, would certainly be outside of the normal envelope; we would in these cases just record a link to the store website. OSM generally does not record pictures at all.
