Good After Noon, Date: 16/10/2015 Respected, I'm using openstreetmap API web service for the reverse geocodding to retrieve address from given latlong but I'm getting error when i sent request from my software using HTTPWebRequest. Response error : "Unable to connect to the remote server". So, I just want to know that if i'm going with licence version then how much cost i have to be pay. OpenStreetMap does not sell access to its servers. You can either set up your own server (the software you need is Open Source, see wiki instructions), or you can pay for a commercial OpenStreetMap based geocoding service. @CDesai I'm not sure that you do understand. OpenStreetMap isn't a web service free for you to use. If you want to use a commercial service you're free to do so - contact one of the service providers mentioned above.

See especially the OSM wiki about Search Engines and try to find out what service or software can do reverse geocoding. Then get in contact to the organisations / companies that drive those services, like komoot.de for Photon... or mapzen.com for pelias or Search ... or mapbox.com should have also a solution. answered 16 Oct '15, 14:38 stephan75 |
