Strange drop number of edits in one zone

In the area of Mallorca it seems that the number of contributions from earliest to latest edition is decay. See this movie

and you see that in 2010-12-01 these drop. Why? It's because OSM applies Odbl now or what?

It seems like there are some frames missing from the gif file (the last ones). New gif(requested 30 min later) has some more frames. The drop seems to remain although there is more data after the drop so it is probably an error in source data of that day.
