Why not ask your question on the new OpenStreetMap Community Forum?

Hi, I just added a Hotel in Puno, Perú and the owner told me that the have parking for their clients.

So, my question is: How I can add that? Is "parking=yes" enough in this situation?

Thanks,

if you do not know the position of the parking space (which you could tag amenity=parking), then this is better than nothing, in my opinion. Adding tags in that style is usual. We have 1100 objects with this tag and 49 hotels with this tag. However, mapping the parking separately should be preferred.

How to add such a tag? See the bottom section "Tag#Use_in_an_editor".

Humitos, if the parking is specific labeled "Hotel clients" you could add access=private. To specify the place for guests only.

aad to which object? Note that it would apply to all tags of the object, where "parking=yes" is added. For example to the hotel. While this is true for nearly every hotel, I would be confused to find such an access tag for a hotel.
