Does any one knows why Maproulette still asks for JOSM's remote control? JOSM announced remote control is nt a special that needs to be launched, it has been build in.

Hi Maproulette is in normal condition again, following step by step without complaints. Well done. :-))

There seems to be a bug recently introduced into Maproulette in which it displays an error message about JOSM remote control when each challenge is presented. This will likely be fixed at some time in the future.

you mean that an error is displayed even if remote control is running?

Yes - an error is displayed even if remote control is running.

what do you mean by "asks for JOSM's remote control"?

Do you mean that it asks you to enable it? That is necessary, since "Due to security reasons this feature is disabled in the default settings and has to be enabled manually." ( https://josm.openstreetmap.de/wiki/Help/Preferences/RemoteControl )

I don't have JOSM installed at all, and it seems always to be trying to use Remote Control anyway.
