You can do a small section from the map screen using the routing there (turn arrow symbol) for larger areas use OSRM does that do what you need? To see the route even clearer you could export a GPX file from osrm and view that with either Viking, Prune or Garmin Basecamp all are free PC programs and display OSM maps. answered 22 Aug '15, 08:50 andy mackey

It sounds like umap could be what you need - please read the answers for this linked question. answered 24 Aug '15, 06:36 aseerel4c26 ♦ |
Please specify, what’s your goal ? There 3 questions in there.
I uploaded a picture showing what I need. But, I don't see it now. Maybe I'll never find it again.
Let me know if you found it (Florissant NWG Populated Areas.png).
I downloaded source forge.net/projects/viking/ but I don't see how to run it.
I found that Google Map will let me put one location on my map with a green pointer. I need several so that not the answer. :-|
I have linked your uploaded image in your comment. Could you please explain whawt you mean by the differently coloured lines in the map?
is it true that you do not mean someting with a GPS device but you just mean points on specific coordinates?
